My local dealer finally found out what the problem was and they performed a fix.  It had something to do with some bolts that fell out of the transmission causing it to bounce on the belt in turn knocking the belt off.

It appears that the bolts/transmission case were not manufactured to be put all the way through the transmission case, so over time, they backed out.  My local dealer drilled all the way through and nutted a longer bolt on the other end.  I mowed all summer with no problems.

My local dealer did each repair at no charge and was extremely apologetic and remorseful in regards to my defective tractor.

For Husqvarna's info...  my dealer is Woody's in Timberlake, NC.  First class operation and they took care of me each and every time my tractor broke.  Thanks to them, I will most def continue to purchase Husqvarna tractors.
