    Question:
I am a Kenyan with a stone quarry that is mainly made up of hard granite rock. The formation of the rock does not allow for the use of masonry equipment that you have on your site. I am thinking of purchasing the Husqvarna K 960 Chain saw with a diamond chain. I really would like you to help me since I need a machine that will be able to cut to a depth of 10’. I wish you to advice me if this machine is capable of doing the work? I expect it to cut blocks of 9’x6’ and 9’x9’ on a daily bases. Please tell me the following?
    1. How many running feet would the diamond chain be able to cut before it wears off and needs replacement. This will guide me to establish the price of a block and the viability of the investment I wish to make.
    2. What is the selling price of this machine
    3. Is this machine able to do wet-cutting? If so will the hosepipe and other necessities for this be part of the initial cost of purchasing the machine?
Please feel free to advice me accordingly as to the best way to mechanize my production, but take note I have no electricity and would most prefer a handheld machine.
    Thanks
    Chege
