I have a 3 y/o RZ4623 that won't start. It has been quirky starting lately. I began having problems starting it about one month ago. It acted like the batter was low/dead. The starts were slow, like an undercharged battery might indicate. I let it sit overnight with a trickle charger and it fired right up the next morning. The next few starts were similar, but it would start.

A few days ago it was very slow to turn over, but eventually started. I rode it about 30 feet, it sputtered & died. When I turned the key, there were a few growls (like a dying starter), then nothing.

I visually checked all wires & connections, and both fuses. All were tight & OK. With a test light, I checked the lead(s) from the battery to the starter solenoid, and from the solenoid to the starter. When the ignition switch is turned, there is no power going to the starter. Bad ignition switch? Bad solenoid? Bad starter? I can't see a way to "jump" the solenoid to determine if the starter is ok. The battery is again fully charged, but still nothing.
