    Question:
I have a Husqvarna HD800BBC push mower which I purchased in January so it is a 2011 model. I am having several issues with the mower which seem to be design issue that makes the mower very unusable.

First is That when mulching the clipping stay held up to long and causes them to drop out all at one time leaving clumps in the yard. I am going by the owners manual an just cutting the top 1/3 of the grass. Also since this unit has a blade clutch, when stopping the blade and then trying to re-engage the blade, if the blade stops by the exit shoot the grass gathers there and keeps the blade from moving. Then the mower has to be stopped and turned on its side to clean the clipping from the shoot area.

The second issue is when pushing and pulling the mower.
When going forward if the ground is not flat and there is a little raise in the center of where the mower is mowing the mower will become hard to push to the point where the self propelled wheel will spin and sometimes come off of the ground. When pulling it in reverse the same thing happens, even when the safety flap is not folded under. The mower has to be dragged in reverse. Then if the flap goes under them mower it will lift the wheels or almost lift the wheels off of the ground.

When buying this mower I was clear that I would be using the mower to mulch. Also had told the dealer that I had heard there was issue when the flap folded under and was told that that he had not heard of any issues. But did not expect to have issue when the flap was not under the mower or going forward.

I am very disappointed with this mower. I did not buy the cheapest mower, but the top of the line so I would not have issues. At this time I am going to have to go back to my 22 year old Lawn Boy that this mower was supposed to replace and start using it again.

This is my 5th Husqvarna piece of equipment. I have been very satisfied with my string trimmer, 2 chainsaw and riding mower. That is why I purchased the push mower.

I would like to speak to someone about these issue. Please call me or give me a phone number to someone that can help me with my issue. The 800 number that is on Husqvarna website is useless unless you need parts.

Thank you in advance for your help with these issue.
