I have a MZT-61 Zero Turn and keep having intermittent issues starting it after turning it off. I will be mowing and get a phone call, I power it down and turn the switch all the way off, come back after a few minutes and it will not click or turnover at all!
At first I thought I left the switch on and it seemed to turn on after waiting a while, so I thought it was voltage. But ever since I make sure the switch is all the way off and it continues to happen. As I am writing this the battery voltage is 12.89v, no start. Brake is engaged and I pressed on it more to eliminate it. PTO is off, arms are out, switches engaged.
Is there a specific voltage that the Kawasaki will not start under? Does it have to be over 13v? I tried a jump with a 14v car battery but still nothing. If I engage the PTO and try to turn the key I do hear a solenoid engage. Please help! Still under warranty but I hate to pay over $60 to get it picked up for a simple issue.
Thanks,
