Service & Maintenance Question posted March 6, 2014 by Juergen Ludwig in Husqvarna: Ask & Answer > Chainsaws public
I am overseas in Thailand and do not have to opportunity to consult a local dealer ,I do need to handle things myself .
I have a435 X Torq here . I do need to remove the clutch/driveassembly to take it back to the US for replacement.
How do I get that entire assembly off? I know it is screwed on ,probably counter clockwise ,but I can not get it unscrewed( everything turns ) . How do I arrest it so I can apply some power? Will I need special tools -which I do not have . I need to 'wing 'it. Any tinkerers out there who can give advise -or maybe even the official Husky folks !!!
