    I would like to return my Husqvarna 128DJX trimmer. But the dealer does not have a policy for returns. What do I do?
    Details:

    I recently bought a 128DJX trimmer from Rick Singleton Rental LLC in Huntingdon, PA on May 15..  When I took the unit home, I tried to operate it.  The unit would not work.  The factory failed to install the trimmerhead shaft.  I notified the dealer and brought the unit in to be fixed or exchanged.  The dealer did not have one in stock so I had to wait ten days to receive a new one.  The dealer did offer to allow me to use a rental trimmer but do to my work schedule I declined.    By chance I stopped into the dealer on May 30, 2012 and received an exchange.  I also met your district sales rep for the Huntingdon area.  I told him of my situation and his attitude was very lackadaisical.  Simply put he did not seem to care for the inconvenience that I experienced.  His response was to offer me a hat.  I declined and stated that I would like to have a nylon blade cutterhead at a discounted price.  This incident occurred on May 30.  It is now June 25 and I have received no response from the dealer in this regard.

      I am extremely upset by the unproffessionalism of the dealer and your district sales rep.  This is why I wish to return my trimmer.  When notified by my intent, the dealer said he has now policy for returns.  The dealer said that they will call me back when they reach a decision on this incident.  I frankly, do not believe them.

    I am also annoyed by the confusion caused by your phone system and email system.  I tried calling the customer service number from a Lowes store number for Husqvarna but kept repeatedly getting cut off when I wished to contact a customer care representative.  I only found out about another phone number by searching the Husqvarna website.

    In the future I will think twice before I buy from an independent dealer like Rick Singleton Rental.  I will also remember this abysmal customer servce when choosing my next outdoor power equipment item.  I have also warned others of this experience and I hope they heed my advice. I am so angry and betrayed over this experience that I am considering throwing away my trimmer  because I will forever remember this ordeal regardless of the outcome.
