    Question:
I bought a 3300 psi husqvarna pressure washer about 2 weeks ago. This is the 2nd time i have used it. One of my employees was pressure washing a house with it and out of nowhere the compression fitting flew off. My employee received a large welp from the pressurized water and is now quite gun-shy to use this equipment. Does this happen often>? Is this a recurring problem due to the high pressure? I dont want my employees getting injured. Can you tell me why this happened and give me some advice to keep it from recurring? The quick connect on the hose actually broke. I had to return it to Lowes. They replaced the hose. Not sure what I am suppose to do to compensate my employee for the welp on his back. Thank you for your quick reply.

Carolyn, I had a similar experience two weeks ago when I bought my high pressure washer. The hoses flew off the machine so quick fortunately, I did not get hurt. But here is what I learned from my experience, the placard of Instructions that is provided with the machine is inadequate. I did not get a manual with instructions. I now have an Instruction manual along with a Supplemental Manual that I purchased from the Manufacturer. I am Not an expert yet, but alot more Knowledgeable of pressure washers than I was two weeks ago. Do not allow your employees to use a pressure washer unless they fully understand the machine, some training would be appropriate.

        John,

You have inadvertently posted your post to an Answer, you should re-post you post as a question.

Anyhow, In answer to your problem, the reason the fuel is coming out of the air cleaner, Is your engine is flooding. There are a number of reasons why this could be happening: 1. You could have a stuck carburator float, 2. a bad float needle, 3. a misadjusted carburator, 4. a defective carburator. I would recommend taking it back to where you purchased it, or go to a Husqvarna Repair Center and it may be a simple fix.

        I hope this helps
