That's a great question I had my new 3k lawns mower delivered today and noticed that same issue immediately. It is 1.5 inches toed in. I believe it is unnecessary stress on the bearings one wear on the tires. I am going to the dealer tomorrow to discuss it with them to see of that's normal to help ease stealing. I have to say I do not like it but maybe that's the way it is. I will post their answer tomorrow. Hope it is a corectable issue cause there is no adjustments on the front end. And I am not sure I can accept that's the way it is for an answer.

I realize this is an older question but I hopes it helps someone else that has the same concerns:

I went to the husquvarna dealer today and he fully understood the concern and agreed that I should not have a 1.5 inch toe in with the front tires. He said he has come across this issue several  times and apologized that he did not see the issue during inspection before delivery. He called husquvarna and got a part number for an adjustable linkage and is ordering the parts and was willing to  pick up the lawn mower (free of charge) and replace the unadjustable linkage with the new adjustable linkage and warranty it to make it right. This is exactly why I wanted to buy a lawn mower from a reputable dealer and thank goodness we did (Robinson outdoors) cocoa Florida.
