    Question:
    The control cable was not properly attached to the trigger on my new 128LD trimmer that I received on Friday from Amazon. I was reluctant to open the housing and attempt repair, but the nearest authorized dealer only sells the item and outsources repairs.
    Details:
    It was clear to me that the tip of the cable had never been inserted into the slot and pulled through the groove during manufacturing/assembly. This also means that your Quality Control isn't working either. I expected quality workmanship from such a reputable company.
