Question:
We have a RZ5424. We cannot find the solution to our problem in the manuels or the dealer. How do I get the change oil light off. I changed the oil and it says 36.6 on it. Even with the key turned off the indicator light continues to read change oil 36.6. It is running the battery down between operation. Everytime I go out to start the machine the battery is dead. The battery has been replaced and the connections are all tight. We bought the mower in may 2010. I would appreciate your prompt answer. Thank You.

The hour meter and oil service light should go off when you have the key in the off position, if it is in fact still on then there is a problem withiin the switch and would have to be looked at by one of our technicians. You can find a local service center by following the link below.
