    I purchased a 350BT about a month ago and used it for the first time. Every time I tried to open the choke, the engine stalled. I cleaned my yard on half-choke and then I began to wonder if the choke sticker was upside down. The choke sticker had "closed" at the top and "open" at the bottom (the text was upside down). Am I correct that the sticker was incorrectly placed upside down at the factory? Thus, is "UP" open and "DOWN" closed?

    James - You are correct.  The label is updside down.  The choke is closed when the lever position is down.  I purchased my 350BT several months ago and just opened the box this past weekend.  My choke label is positioned correctly, however, my choke handle was broken off and at the bottom of the box when I pulled the unit out.  Anyway, go to the video section in customer support and clickon How do I get started with my new backpack blower?, then click on "starting".  You'll get a clear picture of how the choke label should be oriented.

        Thanks for confirming my suspicion.  Blower runs great with choke in the up & open position.

      Hi James,

      Thanks for contacting Answer Army.

      It is possible the sticker is on upside down. However, it sounds like the carb needs adjusting. Go to www.husqvarna.com to find a dealer near you, they will be able to adjust it for you. And also see if the choke sticker is on incorrectly.

        Thank you, Greg. The carb was my initial fear, but it seems that the sticker was merely upside down.  Luckily the sticker came off easily and I was able to flip it.
