Dear Husqvarna Corporation:
I am a consumer looking to purchase a Lawn Tractor. I discovered the Tractors made by your company along with Craftsman (Sears). In particular, I am interested in the Model 28851 or Model 28856 with the 42" deck. Today, I almost purchased the Model 28851; however, I have noted a design flaw in these machines, which does not appear in the 46" inch deck comparable models.
Underneath the 42" decks, there is an exposed belt mechanism. Grass and mulch can and does get into and around this and causes problems with the motor and mechanism. I think this definitely warrants attention and should be addressed. These are fine machines and I would definitely want to purchase one if this design flaw is corrected.
Please address this issue.
