    Question:
    Husqvarna 350 - Pin Identification.
    Details:

When I removed the starter and clutch covers a pin fell out.  The pin measures 1.185" long and .155" in diameter.  It has 3 equally spaced horizontal grooves  that measure approximately .400" long.  I  have no clue where it goes, what it does, or where it came from.
    Please help. Thanks.

      Ponderer,

Looking at the IPL drawing for the 350 clutch cover it looks like this pin is part of the chain tensioner, see attached drawing, Unfortunately the chain tensioner is sold as an assembly so further breakdown by components is difficult. Also not sure If this pin fell out of the chain tensioner, or was inadvertently dropped into the cover during a repair, reassembly, or original factory installation.

I would recommend having your chain tensioner/ clutch cover looked at by an Authorized Husqvarna Repair Center.

I hope this helps! (see attached drawing)

Hi Ponderer, I found the exact same pin yesterday after removing clutch cover.  Were you able to figure this one out?

      Thanks!-Al
