Leaf Blowers

I have a 125BVX blower that had a leak in the fuel line less then a year old. I saw online that another person had the same issue online and got it covered! My local Husqvarna dealer would not honor the warranty because I did not by it from them and Was charge $80+ dollars to get it fixed! Why is it his way? I will not be buying another Husqvarna if the dealers get to pick and choose to service their products!
