When mower is stopped to empty grass I get burnt spots in the lawn. Is this caused by exhaust being too close to the ground and has anyone else had this problem.
Also to change the oil is very bad location and requires extra tools.
I had the same problem! No one could help me on the site or at the husqvarna dealers. I'm guessing your yard has a fairly tall grass? I don't mean it's out of control, I don't even drop my deck to mow. What I finally discovered if you look at the muffler where the hot gases exit the rectangular box portion there is a small semi circular flap. If you take a pair of duck bill pliers or lineman's pliers and slightly bend the leading edge upwards basically redirecting the gases off of the ground/grass. Be careful and don't choke off the flow by bending the edge too much.
I hope this helps you,
Charles
Oh yeah if any husqvarna employee sees this how about re-engineering the exhaust outlet? Jeez!
