Question:
Well, here's a question for the old timers..
I can't find a tap feed string head that will fit my Father in law's 25R trimmer (Nippon Kreis) that still runs beautifully. I've tried a bunch of universal ones, none worked. Can someone here steer me in the right direction/brand/part number? My dealer came up with some possibilities, but didn't want to order 6 of them to see if it would fit.
Thanks,
Jim
Answer
Eugene,
Thanks for the reply. I see where an Oregon Speed Feed head has an adapter for that size, but I've tried that unit and none of the adapters fit. Maybe I should take some dimensions and post back here.
Thanks again,
Jim

There is a couple others possibles then. First if the serial is 603702 or less M7-1.00 LHM or it could the brush cutter setup using the M12-1.75 but I thinking that is going to be female type head and I don't if Left or right threaded but i thinking it is RH.

PS I some how deleted my first reply about the M8-1.25 but just a mistake on my part. Still learning this forum ins and outs.

That going to be the M12-1.75 LHM (male). The head will need to be a M12-1.75 LHF (female) or have an adapter that is.
As for that current adapter I have no idea what size it is.

That current adapter is for the Trimmy H manual head that came with the trimmer. It appears that the Husqvarna T35 Universal head has an adapter that will fit that thread size M12x1,75L. I hope it will, I'll find out tomorrow. Thanks

Well, that T35 doesn't work ether. I really don't think there is one that will.
