Last year I purchased a model XT722FE walk behind mower from a local retailer. What a piece of junk! 2012 was extremely dry here, and we hardly mowed lawn once a month, and early this spring, the self propelled drive basically quit. Upon checking it over, the gear teeth on the wheel were worn completely down on one side, and almost as bad on the other. At about $30 bucks apiece, the money pit started. Ona New LawnMower! One month later, I noticed one wheel was wobbling. Thinking that I didn't get it tight,I looked,it was tight, but the bearing was junk!Are you kidding me????? My 15 year old son said why would you put a plastic gear with a steel gear, and I couldn't answer him! Seems a sophmore in high school is smarter than a engineer @ Husqvarna! I know this will be the last time I buy their crap, I was better off with a imported LawnBoy, it lasted 10 years and was alot cheaper!Who can I contact to talk to about refunding my $400 bucks?

I have the same problem with a HU800AWD. I am looking to hoop up with an engineer too or somebody in this company that can help me.

Good Luck with that Bill! As you can see I posted this in August of last year and have not had a response yet! I thought I was really buying something when I bought Husqvarna. Such a heavy mower with plastic gears and the levelers seem too flimsy too, the *** wheels all tilt in after barely a year and a half of use. You would think youcould get a reply from them....I guess they're not too proud of the junk they sell either. Let me know if you do better than I did!
