Question:

Hi, I bought a new Husqvarna riding mower from Lowe's, model YTH24V54 that was delivered this past Tuesday, 7/17. Due to having to work, etc, I was not able to get to it until today, Saturday, 7/21. I have hooked up the battery, checked the oil, added gas, and have gotten it running. I can ride around on it with no issues. However, every time I pull up the PTO to engage the mower so I can begin to mow, it just stalls the mower. I did read the manual, but cannot locate what I am missing or doing wrong. Can someone help tell me what I may have missed or am doing wrong?

No, I have not. To be honest, I haven't kept trying because I'm scared I will damage the mower and with it being brand new, I'm just leaving it.
