    Question:
My wife is disabled and depends on the weed eater 1 or 621 to mow. Why has the steering problem with that plastic piece of junk not been replaced with something more substantial? We bought it up to SAT just a month ago and already the steering is screwed up. I have taken it apart and can see that it is a bad design for steering, not only on the shaft, but on the wheel connections or tie rod ends. Cheap is not the answer.
At 65 years young, I have zero tolerance for this kind of junk!!!
    Please respond ASAP!!

    Ken,

Thank you for your recent purchase of the Weed Eater One and using Answer Army.  The steering wheel adapter has been replaced by a metal adapter and is the same part number of 532 18 67-37.  Please contact your local servicing dealer for the part and any other warranty work that may be needed for your mower.

Thank you again for using Answer Army.

Yell  It has now been over 3 weeks since the part for the steering colum has been ordered and none as of yet.,.  The mower is at MAE in Mission, TX. where they ordered the replacement part..  What is the problem with this part not arriving??  Also, with weed eater knowing the plastic part is junk, why not have recalled all mowers to put in the corrected one post haste?

        Ken,

The part that you are trying to order is available and in stock.  Your Dealer in Texas should have access to this part along with their Distributor.  In this case the Distributor for Texas is Magneto Power.  Please feel free to contact them directly at 800-849-0878 for further information about this part.

In the mean time, I will also have a member of Answer Army contact the Dealer and Distributor to ensure that the part is received in a timely manner.
