Question:
I have a Husqvarna lawn tractor (GTH 2548 serial # 954572004). Recently the Electric Clutch (#532 17 93 35) that engages the blades failed to release and the wiring was chewed up beyond recognition. I replaced the wires but, every time I disengage the clutch it happens again. The connector was also lost in the process. Question is if when rewiring the clutch the wires were crossed would this make the clutch fail to release? The clutch move freely and when engaged there is no problem however, it fails to release.

This is my first time to reach out for assistance with any of my Husqvarna products (tractor, 2 chain saws, back pack blower and motorcycle). When I called Husqvarna for help all they wanted to do was sell me an expensive electric clutch without answering my question. Instead I was referred to this web site for assistance. And after a full week of waiting for some help.....nothing. Thank you Husqvarna for all your customer support after the sale. Oh! By the way I was able to fix my problem myself
