Question:
I have a new 13 inch string trimmer. It has the automatic line feed system, but the line seems to stay at about 4 inches length. It should advance when I stop the motor and allow it to restart, but it still stays at about 4 inches. I can press the manual feed button to get the line out to 6 or 7 inches, but after it breaks it will only advance out to 4 inches, even after I stop the motor. It is brand new with new line and winding. Help!
