Question:

I have a 128cd string trimmer. New carb,plug, fuel etc....carb was adjusted and it starts fine. However in a few seconds it revs high and stops.

Have no idea, please help.

Sounds like you might have air leak somewhere. Just an after market if use can be problems. Hopefully you're using the Zama C1Q-W40A. Even these can have the metering lever set wrong and cause a lean out problem.
