Question:
We have a model 445 chain saw. The oil will not run through the bar. How can we fix this?
Answer
Depends if it just clogged bar or not. Clogged just need the groove cleaned of sawdust. Oil pump failure is different problem will could be drive pinion, pump, or pickup bad. First trying cleaning the bar and see if this fixes the problem. If not then the clutch needs removing so the oil area can checked.
