    Question:
I own a YTH26V54 yard tractor and I am interested in purchasing the Dozer (snow) blade. Is model 505 56 88-05 compatible? Is the manual available on the website? What are the differences between model 505 56 88-05 and model 531308321 that appears to be available from multiple vendors?
    Details:

    Amazon has model

    531308321

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

Unfortunately the 505 56 88 05 is designed only to fit Garden Tractors, your tractor is a Yard Tractor.

The snow blade however 531 30 83 21 will fit the model tractor you have.

    Hope this helps.

      Thanks Scott!

This is helpful.  I have a follow up question, does model 531 30 83 21 have a lever such that it can be raised and lowered during use - the online photos and documentation are limited!

      Thank you again,

      Josh

Josh:  I had the same problem with the LTG2654 model.  The dozer would attach properly, but, on the owner's manual cover there is a large warning:

CAUTION:  Do not use this attachment on a tractor with less than 23" tires.

I contacted Husqvarna tech support, and finally got a tech that could explain the reason.  The LTG2654 is widely described as a Garden Tractor, but it's really a heavy duty Lawn and Garden Tractor.  Sorta like a cross-over SUV.  The pertinent difference is the transmission..  the 23" tire tractors have a heavier transmission that can take the heavier loads incurred using the Dozer, Grader/Scraper, and the Disc Cultivator.

It looks like all the attachments listed on the Husqvarna web site that say "For use with a Garden Tractor" require a 23" rear tire (GTH series tractor).

      I returned the LTG2654 to Lowe's, and purchased a GTH2452 from a local dealer.

I'd suggest that each tractor on the web site have an item added to its description page:  TRACTOR TYPE (YARD, LAWN, or GARDEN)
