    I just used my chain saw and i had to tighten my chain and saw the tension er screw was gone and were the nut was was also gone how can i fix this

      You would need to order the replacement parts and install them. To do this you would to look up the correct parts list base on the model number and year of manufacture. The year of manufacture is the first 2 or 4 digits of serial number normally unless it is older then the 1980s.

        The chainsaw is a husqvarna 240 x-torg I think that I have the right numbers if not can you tell me were i can find the model number CPWES.0384CP

          I think your looking the serial number. The following image should you find your serial number. It could be in either of the following locations.

      or you can call a dealer and they will order the parts for you...

        It is a Husqvarna 240 x-torg I think this is the serial number CPWES.0384CP If not can you tell me were the serial base plate is

      here is the serial number20122301361 from what I am told i can only order part through a dealer

      The parts can order through online vendors that has access to the Husqvarna parts but I would check with the local dealers first has they may have these in stock and you save both time and money by buying locally.. I do this when a customer is needing small items and I don't have enough items to justify to shipping costs otherwise.
