    Question:
I need to get access to the information I provided when I registered my Poulan Pro PP335 gas string trimmer. Specifically, I need to see the purchase date I entered. I need to obtain a reprint of my purchase receipt and in order to do so, I need a to know the exact date I purchased the item. Just over a month after I purchased this unit, it quit working and would not start. I took it to a local authorized service center (not where I purchased the item) and they worked on it under manufacturers warranty. The unit ran for 30 minutes and it died again. The service center tells me I'll need a copy of my purchase receipt in order for them to service the item again (even though I already gave them a copy the first time). I've misplaced my receipt and need to get a copy from WalMart. Can you help? Thanks.

Thanks for getting back with me so quickly with that information.  The "authorized" service center nearest my home (Scotty's Lawn Equipment, Haubstadt, IN), completed the second repair and I picked up my trimmer today.  The second repair was basically the same as the first.  The first time, they replaced the cylinder piston (POU545008046) and gasket (POU545008044.  The second repair, they replaced the same two items, plus the starter cup assembly (POU5451887041) and the starter coupling (POU545188201).  I got the unit home and took it out to use it.  It started up quickly.  It ran for exactly 20 minutes and died AGAIN!!!!!!  I drove it back to the service center and left it with them to look at it again.  How many times am I going to have to do this?  How many warranty repairs is Poulan willing to pay for?  Thus far, I am unimpressed with this string trimmer!  I think it's time for Poulan to either provde me with a replacement unit or refund my purchase price so I can purchase a unit from another manufacturer.
