    Question:
I just bought a Husqvarna st227p on 10/3/2015 it was ready to go from Lowe's got it home, put gas in, it started right up. This may sound numb but how do you turn on the lights? Nothing in the book about a light switch. thanks for any help.

From what I can find here the lights should work automatically as soon as the engine is running as they appear to be hardwired with only the hand warmers being switched on/off.

I had the same problem with my ST 230P, except that only one side worked. I found a loose wire connection behind the light assembly. Check your wires, push the plug ends in to be sure the connection is tight. That should do it. The lights are LED so theres no bulb to replace. It either works or it doesn't.
