    Question:
General complaint about a lawn mower.
    Details:

Last fall I bought my first house and therefore bought my first lawn mower. I decided to buy a Husqvarna due to it's high regard in the industry for quality. I bought a HU700F front wheel self-propelled mower. I have used it probably a total of 15 times and am very disappointed in the product. In this short time I feel like I can tell the quality just isn't there as I was expecting. The wheels seem cheap and to not be very secure to the unit. The most frustrating part is that the self-propellment is not even strong enough to pull it though my lawn under very normal conditions. It has already been to Lowes once for a repair. As a kid growing up I mowed around six lawns every summer for neighbors. My dad had a John Deere walk behind mower and it was wonderful. I/we never had any problems with it and it lasted a long time. I am one who rarely, if ever, complains to a company about a product so it pains me to even do this. But I wanted to reach out for some guidance. Thank you for your time.

After five years struggling with my  Mod. DH700L self propelled mower  I have had enough of a fight with this total piece of junk. I live in Wyoming with a short growing season and mow less than 0.3 tenths acre lawn, so I put less than 25 hours on this mower. Replace a drive belt every season!  Drive wheels wont break free when mower i pulled backward (I know to push it forward before reversing to free drive).  After about 70 hours the all cheap plastic drive lever cam had wallowed out to the point drive could not be engaged so had to disassemble and bush the cam hole.  It has been a fight every since I purchased  this mower.  Never again a Husqvarna!!! The Honda engine however has been great.
