Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

I purchased a 6021P model 917.384517 in 9/2/12 used it twice than winter come so didn't get to use it any more this year used it two time more than it won't start bring it in at a local Sears repair center at the end of April/2013 and got it back 5/17/13 and was charge for some parts need to be replaced. Was mad since it's under one year and was told the parts is not under warranty. The Sear folks explain that Husqvarna only cover defective parts, try to asked when machine purchased for only 8 months and only used 4 times and it stop working, wouldn't you call whatever the part need to be replace defective? they told me i should have bought the extra protective agreement, I can understand if i brought this thing in 3 years from the purchase dated but for goodness sake after only 8 months everything should be cover by the manufacture, so after 30 minute seen that no one seem to care I just go ahead paid the $95 bill chalk it up as bad luck. However after maybe one good used the unit doesn't want to start begin of July/2013. I'm afraid of bring it in and they will made up some lame non-defective part that is not working and charge me again. Any suggestion about this lemon that I've purchased?
