I am considering purchasing a LGT 24K54. I like all the features and the price this mower offers but am curious about a few components of this tractor including...
1. Why is this the only Husqvarna tractor with a lever transmission and not a pedal mount?
2. What is the model of the Tuff Torq transmission in this mower? Is this the same transmission in the other Garden Tractors or is it comparable to the Yard Tractor's transmission?
3. What is the warranty on the deck of this mower...I noticed in your 2012 guide it is a orange "armored deck" but the one I'm looking at in Sears is a grey deck with out the reinforcement. Is the model at sears a lower quality model?

Hi Josh,
Thank you for looking at our products. I'll answer your questions as best I can in the order they were presented.
1. It has a different transmission in it and as such designates a lever control operation or SEARS may have ordered it this way.
2. The transmission is a Tuff Torq K46AW. It is a solid transmission and is used in several of our models.
3. The warranty without the reinforcement carries a three year warranty. It is not a lower quality it is just how SEARs has ordered that model to sell to their customers. I hope this answered your questions.
