    Question:
What is required to replace starter motor on Husqvarna LZF5227 Zero Clearance mower....buried pretty deep inside frame. Do I have to buy a repair manual or does someone have the details on where to start dismantling? No local dealer.

     Hi Sam,

Thanks for using the Answer Army to post your questions.

I don't think that you will need a repair manual for the mower to replace the engine starter motor. However, you may need the engine information and the specs for the engine in order to get the correct starter. Also, the engine manufacture may have a repair manual that you could use for instructions in removing and replacing the starter and you may want to check with them to see if there is anything special that they require for the repair.
