Chainsaws

I can't get the top cover off of my Rancher 460, which just arrived from Amazon. The saw seemed to have no damage upon arrival. I wanted to check the plug and air filter, removed the 3 screws and it won't come off. I've tried to pry it off with a stick but am afraid of causing damage. It's stuck on the single screw side.
