    Question:
I just purchased a 125B Husk blower which replaced what appears to be the exact same blower manufactured by Husk under the Craftsman name for Sears. The specs and unit are identical BUT the Sears was listed as a "Pro" model and used a more standard 40:1 fuel ratio. The Husk requires 50:1. Is this correct and if so, why? Important as the Sears model blew the engine at 2 years and I obviously want to avoid a reoccurrence. Also, online Husk video strongly suggests a higher than 87 octane fuel. Why doesn't the owners manual say such? Finally, if the machines are the same why does it come with a 3 year warranty under the Craftsman name but only 2 years under Husk? This Creaftsman/ Husk unit was great for 2 years - best blower I ever had. But the engine simply seized up at about the second anniversary and Sears couldn't/ wouldn't repair it due to the expense. Thanks for your anticipated reply!

    Hi Richard

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

The mixtures are rated and changed depending on rpm size of engine and muffler design.

The unit is built by us but fully coved by sears and warranty is for sears to decide. The manual should mention about using a

higher than 89 octane fuel or premium fuel. I will pass this information to our factories so that they may update the information.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.
