Do you mean you have a Husqvarna 240 chainsaw? If so then yes the remote primer is easy to change as it is a clip in style.

      Harry,

Most local chainsaw stores and some big box stores,  will have the primer bulbs in stock, just make sure its the same physical size so that it will fit in the mounting hole of the chainsaw, and that the back of the primer bulb has the same mounting tabs. You can also search for "Chainsaw Model 240 Primer bulbs" on the Internet, and you will find a Zillion retailers.

Also when you remove the old primer bulb make sure you make note of which fuel line you took off of which connector,

Do Not Reverse them or the chainsaw will not work. You should see a short connector on the back of the primer bulb, and a little longer connector on the back of the primer bulb. The short connector (suction side)  has to connect to the fuel line that goes to the carburetor, and the longer connector (Discharge side) has to go to the fuel line that returns fuel to the tank.

      I hope this helps,

      Karla

PS. I am Not a Husqvarna Representative or Repair Service, just experimental chainsaw person
