    Question:
I purchased a Husqvarna yth21k46 mower in June 2010 and in July of 2011 there was a weld that broke in the mower deck on the left back side that the adjustment bracket fastens to, I took this into my local dealer and they welded at it with no luck. After using the mower for one week it broke complety away from the mower deck. This bracket was only welding on one side to the deck. After taking the deck out from under the mower, I had to weld it up myself, and this time I welded it on both sides, this should not have broken after one year of use. You need to relook you welding and make sure this is welded on both sides.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced this failure.

The welding of the mower deck conforms to industry standards and must be allowed to flex.

Typically if a weld breaks we want it welded by a certified welder or the part is to be replaced.

I would suggest that you take the mower to your dealer and asked that they call tech support for an authorization to replace the mower deck shell.
