    Question:
I bought an RZ4623 Zero Turn Mower. I changed the oil today and got oil everywhere. This is a VERY poor design. How do you change the oil on this machine without getting it everywhere? Is there a video showing the oil change process? I bought this mower used (4.2 hrs) from Lowe's, and it did not come with the manual, quick disconnect for cleaning the deck, or anything to change the oil with. I've tried to look up the accessories on the Husqvarna site, but none of this shows. Any suggestions you have would be great.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced this problem with the oil change.

I am curious, this unit has a "remote" oil change hose that directs the waste oil off and away from the machine.

The manual is available as a free download on the website: http://www.husqvarna.com

The quick connect hose wash out can be purchased at your local authorized Husqvarna service center.

just so folks are aware, the owners manual on line dnload from Husq does not describe how the change the oil nor the filter - both are reasonably obvious -- but. 1) --.. filter has little clearance to spin it off/on (ie, very hard to get to and turn)  and 2)-  the oil drain hose fitting on my new RZ5424 (1st oil change at 50 hrs)the brass fitting rather than the cap  turned in the hose and cap thus did not unscrew -- .. a real pain in the butt to get at to correct this assembly defect... poor design as no access to the end of the drain hose.

just purchased a new mzt-52 and changed the oil at 10 hours. i think any kid could design a better way to change the oil on this mower but again some engineer designed this so really what do you expect.
