    Question:
I just purchased a factory reconditioned 128LD trimmer. Upon starting it, I noticed that the engine runs jerky, feeling like it could cut off at any moment. More importantly when I squeeze the trigger and the engine revs up, there is a noticeable delay before the head starts spinning, as though the gears are slow to catch. Is this normal behavior? The main reason I purchased this trimmer is because my Husqvarna leaf blower has performed exceptionally. This trimmer just does not have the same feel. It is almost as if the condition for which it was originally returned was never truly corrected.

At this point I just want to return it and buy a new trimmer, but I will have to pay return shipping so I want to make sure this is not normal before doing so.

    Thanks

    Ben,

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna to post your questions.

We regret to note your new trimmer does not run smoothly as it should.

If you purchased the unit on-line, you have trhe choice of contacting the selling organization about replacing the unit, or delivering it to a Husqvarna Service & Parts dealer in your area for evaluation and correction of the condition.

If you would prefer local service attention, you can identify the Husqvarna Service Dealers in your area through the Dealer Locator link on the website.

    Thanks again
