Question:
Hi..
I just purchased a 450 with an 18 inch bar to deal with a big pine that fell from Hurricane Sandy.
I spent a great deal of time understanding techniques and safety (bends - tension/ compression, dangers from springing, staying mindfull of kickback etc). Thankfully I safely limbed and bucked 80 % of the tree.
All that is left is a piece that is 26" in diameter. Can I safely cut it with my 18" bar ?? Do I need to approach it from opposite sides. What makes me nervous is that the tip is dispperaring into the tree. Any advise would be helpful
