    Question:
I consulted the Husqvarna website page

    /images/us/accessories/trimmer-heads/t35-tap-advance-trimmer-head/531300183/

to verify that the T35 head (NON universal) is compatible with the 128LD trimmer. The page is specific that it is, indeed, compatible.

Based on that information, from the manufacturers website, I ordered the T35 through a dealer on eBay. I received it today only to find out it is NOT compatible. The arbor size is clearly larger on the T35 and it needs a converter, which I would suspect is the same converter that comes in the UNIVERSAL version.

    Am I missing something?

Let's see if we figure out what wrong here. Either the trimmer was packaged wrong in the clamshell packaging or it one that not clamshell packaged. Either that or someone at the  factory mixed them up. Also by what part number did you order the T35 by?

It sorta sounds like it a T35X PN 578446601 head which comes with a 12mm L adapter instead to the 10mm L. Using an caliper measure both the your trimmer mount and the hole in the T35. Your trimmer should be the 10mm L; although, I don't if it is 1.25 or 1.00 thread pitch and the above does spec pitch either. I suspect the M12 is 1.75 and the M10 is 1.25. Now if your trimmer is 8 mm then your would the universal T35.

      Now the universal T35 PN 537388101 does comes the following adapters > M10x1,25L / M12x1,75L / M10x1,0L / M8x1,25L
