    Question:
Hello , I Bought a FR345 Brush cutter , this is the second year of running it , I Use Un ethanol Gas Only , today when trying to start it , I found that the Fuel Line had turned to a soft Putty and was falling apart in the Fuel Tank . I called My Dealer , and told them my Problem ,?? , They seemed to Care Less about it .They told me that ALL Fuel lines do this ,, NOT TRUE ,, I have had and Run Chainsaws for Years with the same Fuel lines and have had " NO " Problems .. So I am trying to get answers Here ! I Feel that My Dealer Let me DOWN and HUSQAVARNA Failed to do a Better Job of inspecting their Fuel line Materials be for having them installed in their Products .. I will Replace the Fuel Line My Self and Will Never Buy another Husqvarna Product from this Dealer again !

Actually both of you are right.

This problem is fustrating problem for me too as small engine repair shop owner. Many of the older fuel lines hold up much better than the newer stuff. What is is worst is that I can not even get the old lines to use especially in bulk lengths.

Here I replace most lines using Tygon versions. Even with these I have seen anywhere from no problem to lines softening and falling part or hardening.

Some of the problems is the additives that are in the oil that we mix with the fuel. I seen brand new lines to disintegrate with days and only cure was to replace the lines and have customer change their brand of fuel oil which seen to fix to problem.

Well ,, it Has been over a Year since I had Posted this Question on Here For an Answer ,  One Person had Posted  in the Answer Section  and Had Similar Problems as Well , I see  that My Question Has Been "" Escalated ""  What Ever That Means and that's it ???  I thought that Maybe someone From Husqvarna Would Be on Here to Give their Response ,, But .. I Guess you Get What You Pay For ,,  and Once You Pay For it , the Service that they Say  They Stand Behind  No Long Matters  !!  Something is Definitely Gone Wrong with the Way Husqvarna is Running their Business ,,  I think that I will start Out Sourcesing   Everything I do as Well so that I don't Have to Take Responsibility  to People Buying My Products  !!   SAD ,, Just SAD !!
