    Question:
I bought the Husqvarna ST 324P snow thrower from Lowes back in Sept. 2015 and I am reading how to properly operate it. They include a quick reference guide for setup, operation, and maintenance. Under "Moving Forward And Backward" for the Hydrostatic drive, there is a CAUTION: DO NOT move speed control lever when traction drive control lever is engaged. Damage to the snow thrower can result. Below that, it says to move the speed control lever to desired position BEFORE engaging the traction drive control lever.
I went online to Husqvarna Support for the Owner's Manual and it says basically the opposite instructions. "Move speed control lever to desired position AFTER engaging the traction drive control lever." Also, "CAUTION: Do not move speed control lever unless engine is running. Damage to the snow thrower can result."
Which set of instructions should I follow?! The online Owner's Manual or the Quick Reference Guide that came with it?
I really do not want to damage the expensive Hydrostatic Drive by operating it wrong! Greatful for any help.
