Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

Rusty Mower Deck ? I purchased a 7021p on 5/31/13 at Western Lawn Equipment in O Fallon ,Mo. for a little over $300.00 . This I thought was a pretty good amount of money for a non self propelled mower. This was a replacement for my 10 year old Craftsman. This mower is a few weeks past a year old and I can honestly say the deck has more peeling paint and rust then my 10 year old Craftsman. I have read several of the questions and I have already heard all about Salt/Sand erosion and none of those apply here in St.Louis . I think at the current rate the deck will barely make 2 seasons unless I re-paint it . Also the blade that comes with this mower is cheap and already in need of sharpening ( after approx. 12 uses.) Hopefully you can come up with some form of a solution to these problems, as right now the only good thing this mower has is the Honda GC engine. I can only attach 1 pic but have several others showing the rust in several areas. Thank You and I look for your reply. Tim
