So I purchased the 455 Rancher after hearing wonderful things about this saw. During the first day of use I found my left hand getting very hot. I stopped cutting to inspect the saw and found a hole burned through the chain break. It looks like the exhaust port is loacted on the top of the muffler. The hot gasses burned a hole through the plastic and started to burn through my glove. Is the the case with all 455s? Is there a fix for this? Please help! Is there a different muffler I can install, maybe one with a front gas port?. At this point the saw is only usable for about 15 minutes then it burns my hand. Thanks for your help and I eagerly await your reponce!
