Walk Behind Lawn Mowers

I have a HU725AWD/BBC mower and yesterday while mowing, a clip holding the safety flap on the rear bottom edge of the mower deck fell off without me noticing it. Is this covered under warranty? I purchased the mower at Lowe's on 12/04/14. I have attached photo(s).
