    Question:
The battery appears to be dead so I can not start my Weed Eater One riding mower with the key. How do I start it with the pull start ? I tried pulling the cord a number of times but it didn't start. Is there a trick to this ? Does the key need to be out or turned to some start position first ?

you need to put the transmission in free wheeling, as shown on page 11  of the owners manual. ignition on, in neutral, blade disengaged.

should start right up and engine will recharge the battery while you mow.
