String Trimmers

I purchased a Featherlite weedeater on 5/24/12 at Walmart. After the second use, the head broke off. I called Featherlite and they referred me to a local authorized service center. I am now being told that the part is considered normal wear and not covered under warranty. I can understand if this was a 1 year+ piece of machinery, but its not and after only two uses, it breaks? I am extremely disappointed that this is not going to be covered. This was uses by someone who has previously done lawn maintenance, so they knew what they were doing. I am now being told I will have to pay almost half of my original purchase price of the item to replace the broken part. This is rediculous to me and would like to speak to someone about this.
