I have a 445 that Ive run for years. THis spring Ive tried to start it and the Priming Bulb wont prime the Carb. Ive pulled the bulb and it is functioning normally. Ive also noticed that when I attempt to prime i have fuel start leaking out of the tank vent. Im guessing these two things are related. I know there has to be something simple but I cant seem to find it.
Thanks
Rick

You may have the lines crossed up. Many novices thinks that the primer pushes fuel into the carburetor and it doesn't. Even you have it to pull fuel through the carburetor you may the lines reversed at the carburetor.
One other thing that can the primer not work at be fixed easily is a clogged carburetor internal filter screen. Depending the screen used it may not be cleanable and may even look clean when in fact it is clogged.
