Zero Turn Mowers

I have a rz4824f that will not discharge grass and have talked to my shop about this problem? The dealer said husqvarna would send me a new set of baffles and covered under warranty. The baffles the y sent were the same that is on my deck now? They recommend my dealer to cut the old ones off which are welded in. Then replace the new ones by bolting them in? Please help me. Understand the advantage of this. Thank you .
