    Question:
OK I bought a Husqvarna 435 a few months back. I followed the manual for starting and ran it a few times the last few months. Now I went out to start it and it just will not start. I have done everything the manual has said for trouble shooting. I cannot get it started. Any suggestions???

     Hi John,

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

The number 1 starting problem we experience is from fuel that has either sat in the gas tank for too long of a period, or the fuel sat in the machine for too long. When Ethanol based fuel sits for longer than 3 weeks or so it starts to separate and break down. When it is sitting in the units tank it can and will varnish the jets in the carburetor and clog them up.

You may have to take the unit to an authorized service center and have them preform an evaluation, but I'm willing to bet its the carburetor. You can find a local service center by following the link below.
